The World’s First Sabin Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine Got Licensure in China

On January 14, 2015, the world’s first Sabin Inactivated Poliovirus Vaccine (single) was granted licensure by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) of China.
The Vaccine was researched and developed by the Institute of Medical Biology of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS), and mainly aimed at protecting children from polio virus infection through the method of injection.
